Our LEAD Team oversees the church planting efforts of the IBC in Northern Europe (above 50. Lat. line). This Region covers over 15 countries and our group consists of 7 representatives of 3 different countries. Already the IBC has over 18 churches in this area of the world, and by God’s grace we will continue to see more bible teaching, discipleship making, international churches established in this region of the world.
Meet the Members
David Martin is pastor of IBC Cologne, Germany and serves as the captain our Northern Europe LEAD team with a great heart to reach the nations.
The team members are:
- David Fresch – Stavanger, Norway
- Lee Hanson – Aalborg, Denmark
- Erik Nielsen – Copenhagen, Denmark
- Scott Corwin – Berlin, Germany
- Bruce Boeckel – Berlin, Germany
- Paul Grinyer – Bremen, Germany
They are currently working to see a church planted in eastside Berlin with Bruce and Mary Boeckel. They have been on the ground since November 2016 and are working to reach into their community and see a core group established.
Pray for Church Planters
They are praying about Malmö, Sweden and Amsterdam, Netherlands as possible church plants. They have done feasibility studies on both cities and have concluded that they are in great need for English speaking, bible teaching churches. They are praying that the Lord will now raise up church planters who will respond to the call to reach the nations for Christ in those cities.
This fall they are planning to conduct a feasibility study in Bonn, Germany which is the home to the German UN and the former capital of West Germany. From their initial studies they see great potential for an English speaking Baptist church in that city.
